    • Fourth Edition of the Contiuna Data Governance and Management Training Course begins

    On April 9, the Fourth Edition of the Data Governance and Management Course, organized and directed by Alarcos Group professors Ismael Caballero and Ricardo Pérez, began as part of the collaboration agreement between UCLM and DAMA Spain.

    In this new edition, 47 students have enrolled, which added to the 125 people of the three previous editions, there are more than 170 people who have placed their trust in the UCLM to train as data professionals.

    In this first session, Lucía Engo, president of DAMA Spain, and Ricardo Pérez del Castillo, in his role as Academic Director of the Vice-rectorate of Postgraduate and Continuing Education of the UCLM gave an institutional welcome to the attendees. Michele Iurillo, as Head of Training of DAMA Spain and Ismael Caballero, as Director of the Degree complemented the welcome messages.

    After the corresponding presentations, Lucía Engo, started the first class with the modules of Principles and Roles of Data Management and Gorka Santos with his session on Data Warehousing.

    This fourth edition of the course will also count with our colleague from Grupo Alarcos Fernando Gualo who will give the sessions on Reference and Master Data, as well as a specific session on the new UNE 0081 on Data Quality Assessment.
