The Alarcos Group has celebrated its 25th anniversary, since its creation was formalised on 24 May 1997 with the signing of a UCLM research contract with the company SLIGOS to develop the project "MANTEMA: Methodology for the Maintenance of Information Systems" whose director was our colleague Francisco Ruiz. This was the initial funding that allowed us to hire some fellows, buy equipment and finance travel.
Since then, hundreds of PhD students, researchers and technologists have contributed to the realisation of projects, doctoral theses, conferences, congresses, books, articles, papers, etc. We would like to thank all of them for their dedication.
