    • Introduction to Power BI (2):
    Data Analysis and Visualisation'

    Last November and December our colleague Francisco Ruiz taught the course 'Introduction to Power BI (2): Data Analysis and Visualisation'. In this course, 14 professors and researchers from the different campuses of the UCLM learned to use the Microsoft Power BI tool to perform different kinds of analysis and data visualizations, in an applied way and working with real data (about 100,000 records) of Spanish foreign trade by country, year and product. This course is a continuation of the previous one dedicated to the initial stages of a data valorization project (with a focus on multidimensional data model design and on ETL processes). An example of the work done by the participants can be found here.

    New editions of both courses are planned for 2024 February-April, for which the registration period is now open at the UCLM, within the teaching and researching staff training plan.
