Our colleagues Javier Verdugo, Jesús Oviedo, Moisés Rodríguez and Mario Piattini have published the article "Connecting research and practice for software product quality evaluation and certification: a software laboratory’s 25-year journey” in the IEEE Software magazine.
The article presents the 25-year journey of the Alarcos group from basic research on software product quality evaluation and certification, through the transfer of this knowledge to the industry, and culminating in the creation of AQCLab, the first laboratory internationally accredited by ENAC/ILAC for the evaluation of software maintainability and functional adequacy following the ISO/IEC 25000 family of standards.
