    • : Final degree project demonstrates
    the advantages of low-code technologies

    Last 21st February, the student Esther Camacho obtained a calification of 10 in her final degree project entitled "Platform for recycling and donation of textile garments", which has been developed for the NTT Data company and tutored by our colleague Francisco Ruiz. This project has been a proof of concept of Microsoft's innovative low-code technologies, such as Power App, Power Automate or AiBuilder. Thanks to these new and powerful technologies, that take advantage of the potential of the Model-driven development approach, a single person has been able to develop in less than 4 months a comprehensive solution, including: i) management system for service administrators; ii) website with automations; iii) services in Azure supported by a Dataverse database; and iv) app for mobile devices with delivery and gathering functionalities, automatic generation of queries, maps with geopositioning, automatic classification of garments through generated AI models, and chatbot for interaction in natural language.
