    • Spanish UNE standards for data
    governance and data management

    Our colleague Ismael Caballero delivered a talk titled "UNE Standards for Government and Management" on March 12th at the 1st Workshop of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance of the CRUE, held at the Higher School of Informatics in Ciudad Real.

    The event was attended by various managerial profiles related to the digital transformation of different Spanish public and private universities integrated into the CRUE.

    The talk provided a global vision of how organizational and business strategies fit with data strategies, explaining an approach by programs and processes for data governance, and introducing the UNE specifications UNE 0077, UNE 0078, UNE 0079, UNE 0080, and UNE 0081 as the basis for designing, developing, and maintaining a data governance system.

    Ismael García Varea, Vice-Rector for Transformation and Digital Strategy of UCLM, Andrés Prado, Director of the Technology and Communications Area of UCLM, and Iñaki Fuertes, Director of Digital Transformation at the University of Deusto, as coordinators of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance of the CRUE, were the promoters of the event.
