Task: IM2 - Diagnose processes

The Business Process Maturity Model (BPMM) from OMG allows to evaluate a BP from an organizational point of view, to gain insight into the appropiateness of its definition. The maturity level of the BP provides the organization with knowledge on the BP definition that can lead to an improvement of the BP.

Purpose

To asses the maturity of the BP based on the definitions of the BPMM, to gain insight into the BP definition and find improvement opportunities that can be integrated into the improvement effort.
