  • D2CR-Development of a Scorecard for Consultation and Analysis of Depopulation and Depopulation in the Municipalities of Ciudad Real Province

    Professor Francisco Ruiz, with the support of Professor Manuel Serrano de Alarcos and Professor Angel Raul Ruiz of the Department of Geography of the UCLM, has signed the agreement 'D2CR-Development of a Scorecard for Consultation and Analysis of Depopulation and Depopulation in the Municipalities of the Province of Ciudad Real'.

    The objective of this agreement, financed by the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, is the design and development of a scorecard offered as a service through the Internet.

    The computer system that will support the scorecard will consist of three components: a database (data collection), an administration software module and a software module for consultation and analysis through the web.

    Its purpose is to help provincial and municipal managers to combat the problems of depopulation and depopulation, facilitating in a friendly way the consultation of a large amount of data and indicators on population and socioeconomic, so that the population situation of each municipality can be known in depth for decision-making.
