    • The UCLM, through the Alarcos Group, becomes the first Curriculum Partner in Spain of the Microsoft Quantum Network

    The UCLM through the Grupo Alarcos, becomes the first Curriculum Partner in Spain of the Microsoft Quantum Network.

    The Microsoft Quantum Network is a community that collaborates with Microsoft in the development of an integral quantum ecosystem, developing practical solutions and building a robust quantum workforce.

    Training in quantum computing is a growing need and is essential to alleviate the deficit of professionals in this field, which will increase exponentially over the next few years, and offers excellent prospects for computer engineers.

    As a first performance in this sense, during the months of May and June the teachers Mario Piattini and Manuel Serrano directed and taught the course "Introduction to Quantum Computing and Quantum Programming in Q#" of 30 hours duration.
