    • EXPERT IN CYBERSECURITY AND AUDITING OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR THE CONTROL OF PUBLIC FUNDS

    Antonio Minguillón Roy     and Julio García Muñoz, together with our colleagues Ignacio García Rodríguez de Guzmán and Mario Piattini, organize the course EXPERTO EN CIBERSEGURIDAD Y AUDITORÍA DE SISTEMAS DE INFORMACIÓN PARA LA FISCALIZACIÓN DE FONDOS PÚBLICOS” of the UCLM, which responds to the challenges that the digital transformation is posing to the public sector, which has increasingly integrated technology in the operation of public entities.

    This 18-credit expert course addresses, on the one hand, how public auditors should consider cybersecurity risks in an audit of annual accounts carried out in accordance with International Standards on Auditing adapted to the public sector; and, on the other hand, the general need for supervision of the internal control system in terms of information security.

    The course is aimed at internal and external control professionals in the public and private sector, ICT professionals who wish to acquire a vision of cybersecurity from an organizational rather than a technical point of view, and graduates in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Business Administration and Management or Law who wish to train to be able to perform the role of information systems auditor or information security manager.
