    • Ismael Caballero sponsors the finalists of the CDQ Award 2020

    Every year, the CDQ Award 2020 is held, which recognizes innovation in the best practices of data management, data quality management and data governance of different European companies.

    Our colleague Ismael Caballero, who has been a member of the international jury evaluating the entries for several editions, participated in the awards ceremony on December 9, sponsoring the three finalists: Bayer, Beiersdorf and Deutsche Bank, with the German company Bayer finally winning with an improved solution for early detection of data quality problems through master data management. The event, organized in an extraordinary online way due to the pandemic, was magnificently organized by Christine Legner and her team at CC-CDQ, who took care of all the details: from the communication aspects, to the sending of gifts to all the attendees.

    In his laudatio, Ismael highlighted the importance of the application of different international standards as a way of facilitating communication and interoperability between different organizations that collaborate with each other in an increasingly cohesive market thanks to data; he also encouraged attendees to continue innovating in the areas of data quality management and data governance and to share their progress, because taking into account the necessary interaction of organizations in this era of connected data, when one wins, we all win. Finally, he encouraged the participation of companies and organizations of all types and from all geographical areas in the next edition of the awards.
