Mario Piattini gives “Practical Quantum Computing: Challenges of Quantum Software Development” seminar at PUC-Rio university

On May 6, our colleague Mario Piattini was invited to give a seminar on the challenges of quantum software development at the Department of Informatics of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

This presentation presents a tour through different topics: Industrial Revolutions, Basic Quantum Concepts, Quantum Computers, Quantum Software and Quantum Software Engineering; reflecting the experience that aQuantum (a joint unit between Alhambra IT and UCLM) has accumulated in these years dedicated to research and development projects such as QHealth: Quantum pharmacogenomics applied to aging".

In addition, a part of the seminar was dedicated to delve into different challenges posed by practical quantum computing in real industry cases, such as when developing and using tools like QuantumPath® (a Quantum Software Development and Application Lifecycle Platform).
