During the month of October 2020, the first Quantum Programming course is taught at the Escuela Superior de Informática of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
This first edition of the course is directed by our colleague Manuel Ángel Serrano and will be taught by José Antonio Cruz-Lemus and Manuel Serrano (Alarcos Group) and by José Luis Hevia (Alhambra) from aQuantum. During this course the basic concepts of mathematics, quantum mechanics and quantum programming will be introduced. Additionally, students will learn to program these algorithms in Microsoft Q#.
With this course, students will be able to do their first quantum programs and begin to work with these new computer science and algorithmic concepts. This course is part of the initiatives aligned with the Talavera Manifesto and that seek the consolidation of quantum software engineering as one of the fields in which professionals, researchers and students should want to deepen.
