Organizational process maturity model for IoT data quality management

Our colleagues Ricardo Pérez and Ismael Caballero together with the Korean researchers Sunho Kim and Dongwee Lee have published the paper "Organizational process maturity model for IoT data quality management", ein the international Journal of Industrial Information Integration Journal of Elsevier. The article is available under Open Access license.

Summary

The main contribution of this paper is a framework for data quality management in IoT environments. The framework is composed of two elements: a process reference model (PRM-DQM for IoT) where, starting from ISO 8000-61, data quality management best practices are particularized and extended in the context of IoT deployments; and a maturity model (IoT DQM3) that helps organizations working with IoT to manage their efforts in implementing best practices in data quality management.
