A two-layer multi-agent architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within communities of practice

This paper presents a two-layer multi-agent architecture designed to support communities of practice in organizations which are concerned with knowledge sharing. The main goal of this proposal is to facilitate knowledge exchange in organizations whose employees are organized into communities. In order to test the architecture, a prototype with which to recommend documents in communities of practice is also described.
