  •   QUALITY IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

  • Collaborated with VIA Inteligente to create a quality framework for the development and use of smart pavement services. A standard and quality assurance process for smart pavement apps was also developed. It also contributed to the creation of ASEPI (Agrupación Empresarial Innovadora del Pavimento Inteligente de España).

For years the Alarcos Group has been developing software product quality metrics based on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard, especially in relation to maintainability and functional adequacy. These metrics have led to the creation of the first laboratory at international level accredited by ENAC for the ISO/IEC 25010 standard (AQCLab, spinoff of the group), which collaborates with certifying entities for the issuance of certificates on the quality of software products. In addition, it has been used for the improvement of both software products and quality assessment tools.
