    • The Alarcos Group, AQCLab and DQTeam are organizing the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7/WG6 international meeting in Ciudad Real from September 23 to 27.

    During this week the different versions of the main standards related to software and information systems quality, especially those of the ISO/IEC 25000 family; functional size measures (e.g. function point standards) and usability reports will be analyzed and refined.

    · ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7/WG6 INTERIM MEETING
    The Conference of the Society of Software Engineering and Software Development Technologies (SISTEDES) will be organised by the Alarcos Group of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and will take place from 12 to 14 September 2023 at the Escuela Superior de Informática.

    The SISTEDES 2023 conference includes the XXVI Jornadas de Ingeniería del Software y Bases de Datos (JISBD), the XVIII Jornadas de Ciencia e Ingeniería de Servicios (JCIS) and the XXII Jornadas de Programación y Lenguajes (PROLE).

    QSET'21 is the second edition of the international workshop on Quantum Software Engineering, held within the well-known IEEE Quantum Week (IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering).

    This workshop is focused on the presentation of incipient works on quantum software engineering. On the one hand, it presents how existing software engineering techniques and methods can be adapted to improve quantum software development. On the other hand, new software engineering techniques and methods are discussed to improve the development of quantum software and hybrid information systems.

    The objective and themes of this workshop are aligned with the call to action within the Talavera Manifesto for Quantum Software Engineering and Programming.

    With the raise of quantum computers, first quantum algorithms came up with promising results. Quantum Computing is becoming more and more a mature area while an investment scalation is happening in this field. Thus, Quantum supremacy is coming, i.e., the point in which quantum computers can solve problems that classical computer practically cannot. In the next years, companies will progressively need to add quantum computing to some (or all) of their daily operations. It is clear that research community must give an answer to deal with this new challenge. Thus, Software Engineering and Programming practices need to be brought into the domain of Quantum Computing. To achieve this, QANSWER attempts to identify new or existing Software Engineering and Programming methods, techniques and practices that are applicable to Quantum Computing.

    In June 2016, the International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ) was held in Ciudad Real (Spain). It will have a Tutorial on "Data Quality Management" and "Data Governance" by Tom Redman and Gwen Thomas, the main conference with articles and discussions on the future of research, and the Doctoral Symposium where PhD Students will present their doctoral papers and get community feedback.

    In this workshop we try to pay attention to the importance of incorporating green aspects as part of software engineering practices.
    The main objective of "Green in Software Engineering" is to include green practices as part of the development of software, as well as the rest of the activities that form part of the of the Software Engineering, taking into account the aspects of the environmental.
    It was held in Ciudad Real (Spain) in collaboration with the "10th International Conference on Global Software Engineering (ICGSE 2015)".
