Our colleaguesRicardo Pérez and Mario Piattini together with researchers Jaime Sayago-Heredia and Gustavo Chango from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador have presented the paper entitled "Exploring the Impact of Toxic Comments in Code Quality" at the 17th International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Approaches to Software Engineering (ENASE 2022) that has been held virtually. The paper presents the results of a research on the application of sentiment analysis in code repository comments, and how these can show the mood of the development team and impact the quality of the code being developed.
