    • II Coordination Conference of the AETHER project at the Escuela Superior de Informática de Ciudad Real (School of Computer Science of Ciudad Real).

    The Alarcos and GSYA groups hosted the 2nd Coordination Workshop of the AETHER project: A holistic approach based on smart data for context-driven data analysis, which took place on 9 and 10 June 2022 and brought together members of the other nodes participating in the coordinated project. Specifically, a total of 30 researchers from the Khaos (University of Malaga), Lucentia (University of Alicante) and IDEA (University of Seville) groups, together with members of the aforementioned Alarcos and GSYA (University of Castilla-La Mancha) groups, attended the conference.

    The AETHER project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, is based on the premise of bringing together not only domain semantics, but all relevant context in the different dimensions of data analytics, with an approach that is both conceptually and methodologically sound and holistic, to offer interesting advantages in different aspects of the data analytics process. This is intended to move towards a knowledge-based framework that integrates novel solutions for data, process and business analytics.

    En esta jornada, los diferentes grupos de investigación han evaluado los resultados conseguidos hasta el momento para así determinar el estado de la ejecución del proyecto y planificar las acciones futuras a realizar en los próximos años, ya que el proyecto, que comenzó en enero de 2021, no terminará hasta diciembre de 2024.
