    • Quality of Information Systems based on international standards, 6th ed.

    Our colleagues Mario Piattini, Félix García, Ignacio García and Francisco Pino have published the sixth edition of the book Calidad de Sistemas de Información on Amazon, available in both Kindle and paperback versions.

    As Carlos Manuel Fernández, IT Strategic Advisor at AENOR, points out in the prologue to this sixth edition: "I have found that the book is a bibliographic reference for: ICT professionals, postgraduate & undergraduate students of IT and telecommunications, for business organization consultants, ICT teachers, etc., where synthesis is its greatest success for its pragmatic application".

    This book presents in a clear way the fundamental concepts related to the quality of information systems, exposes the most significant aspects of the quality of products, processes, projects, services and people related to information systems, gives to know the different standards related to these topics, and analyzes the important role that measurement plays in quality assurance and control...

    As the authors point out: "in recent years, new versions of various standards (ISO/IEC, IEEE standards, PMI, etc.) have been published, setting out the principles and best practices to be followed for improving the quality of the different components of information systems: processes, projects, products, services, people, etc., which has led us to update and revise this book to its sixth edition, to which we have added the subtitle "based on international standards".
