  • QUALITY OF IT BASED SERVICES 2ND ED.

    Our colleague Mario Piattini has published the second edition of the book Calidad de Servicios basados en Tecnologías de la Información on Amazon, available in both Kindle and paperback versions.

    As Esperanza Marcos, Professor of the Degree in Science, Management and Service Engineering at the URJC, points out in the prologue to this second edition: "This book is a rigorous manual on the quality of IT Services, with a complete perspective that takes into account IT services and those that are not strictly IT services but are supported by information technologies. All of this makes this text a reference for those who want to enter or delve deeper into the world of IT service quality with a 360º perspective of these services".

    This book presents the fundamental concepts related to service quality and summarises the main models, standards and techniques for assessing and improving service quality, focusing mainly on IT-based services as well as IT services themselves. Thus, it provides a broad overview of different factors that need to be taken into consideration for the construction of services that are of adequate quality.
