    • UCLM moves up in the Stanford ranking and places 46 researchers among the best in the world

    Our director Mario Piattini is among the best researchers in the world according to the latest edition of the ranking compiled by John P. A. Loannidis (Stanford University, USA) and co-authors, which is based on information contained in the Scopus database to evaluate scientists by the impact of their articles.

    A total of forty-two male and four female researchers from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) are at the top of the international science and technology system according to the Stanford University ranking, the exhaustive work signed by John P.A. Loannidis and based on the information contained in the Scopus database to evaluate scientists by the impact of their articles. Overall, it shows the contributions of the top 100,000 researchers in all fields, according to an index of researchers in all fields according to a composite citation index, as well as their colleagues who are in the top two per cent of the colleagues who are in the top two percent of scientists in their main discipline of subfield.
