    • Ismael Caballero participates in the Data Management Summit 2022

    Our colleague Ismael Caballero participated in the Round Table "How do the different data quality models converge?" held at the Data Management Summit 2022 that took place on October 20th at the University of Nebrija.

    At the table, moderated by Lucía Engo, president of DAMA Spain, participated (from left to right) José Carlos Alonso Sánchez on behalf of Softpi, Carlos Manuel FernándezCarlos Manuel Fernández on behalf of AENOR, Carlos Alonso, on behalf of the Data Office, Verónica Magro on behalf of NTT Data, Jesús Cristóbal Asorey on behalf of SAND and finally Ismael Caballero on behalf of UCLM/DQTeam.

    The discussions were structured around three blocks: (1) Convergence of different models, (2) Involvement of different organisational levels and data governance and (3) Tools for data quality.

    During Block 1, Ismael provided insight on the one hand on the assessment of data quality with respect to the international standards ISO/IEC 25012, ISO/IEC 25024 and ISO/IEC 25040, and on the other hand on the assessment and improvement of organisational maturity with respect to good data management practices, data quality management and data governance with respect to the Alarcos Model for Data Improvement (MAMD) based on the international standards ISO/IEC 38505, ISO 8000-60 and on best practices contained in frameworks such as DMM and the DMBoK.
