The Alarcos Group, whose official name is "GRUPO ALARCOS – SOFTWARE AND INFORMATION FOR A DIGITAL AND SUSTAINABLE WORLD", celebrates as every May the anniversary of its creation, which took place in May 1997 when research into the maintenance of information systems began; subject at that time of great interest because of the problems arising from the year 2000 and the euro.
Since then dozens of researchers, doctoral students and technologists have been integrated into the different lines of work of the group, to all of them we want to reiterate once again all our gratitude for their effort and dedication.
