Our colleagues Ismael Caballero and Fernando Gualo have participated in the working meetings that the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC) has held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 24 to 26 April 2023.
In these meetings we have reviewed the status of the numerous projects that ISTAC is implementing in the field of Official Statistics. Our colleagues participate in the Working Team of the Operational Quality Framework helping to implement Data Governance in the ISTAC. In this work team, led by Alberto González (ISTAC deputy director), also participate Noelia Martín, Ester Torres and Albérica García from ISTAC, Rita Díaz from ARTE Consultores, Asun Frías from EVM Group and our spinoff DQTeam.
During the conference, Ismael had the opportunity to present to the attendees the UNE 0077 Specifications for data governance, UNE 0078 for data management and UNE 0079 for data quality management, recently published by UNE and promoted by the Data Office of the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.
