On June 22, our colleague Marcela Genero Bocco gave a talk on "VISIBILITY AND EVALUATION OF RESEARCH IN COMPUTING", organized by Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo de Sistemas (CIDS) and the Department of Information Systems Engineering of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Regional Faculty of Córdoba in Argentina.
This talk addressed essential aspects for managing and evaluating the quality of research in computer science, both in journals and conferences as well as the quality of the researchers themselves. Recommendations were also offered to improve the visibility and quality of publications and authors.
On the same day, Marcela met with members of different research groups of this faculty to establish future avenues of collaboration.
