  • José Antonio Cruz Lemus participated in the XXIX Conference on University Computer Science Education (JENUI 2023)

    Our colleague José Antonio Cruz Lemus has participated in the XXIX Conference on University Teaching of Computer Science (JENUI 2023) of which he has been Program Coordinator. For this reason, José A. has had a very active participation during the conference, held in Granada between July 5 and 7.

    To begin with, on the 4th he presented and participated in the workshop prior to the JENUI, promoted by the Gender Perspective Commission of AENUI, on the correct use of the gender perspective in computer science teaching.

    On the 5th he was at the opening table of the Conference, together with Nuria Medina, president of the organizing committee, Faraón Llorens, coordinator of AENUI, Encarnación González, councilor of the City Council of Granada and Pedro García, director of the ETSIIT of the University of Granada. Later he acted as moderator in the inaugural conference given by Professor Emeritus of the University of Granada, Alberto Prieto.

    On Thursday 6th he participated in the assembly of AENUI reporting on all matters relating to his work as program coordinator in this edition. In this assembly he saw his work endorsed and his responsibility was ratified and extended to coordinate the program of the XXX JENUI, to be held in June 2024, within the framework of CEDI in the city of La Coruña.

    Finally, on the last day he was part of the closing table of the conference, where he thanked the great work done by the organizing committee of the University of Granada and advanced some of the aspects that are already known about the organization of the next edition of the conference.
