    Our colleague Marcela Genero together with Professor Oscar Diaz, have organized the track methods (Research Methods in Engineering and Software and Information Systems) within the JISBD 2023, held on September 12, 2023. This track is consolidating within these conferences, in which year after year the rigor and relevance in research is strengthened, as shown by the program offered in this edition (https://sistedes2023.uclm.es/MRPJISBMETODOS.php).

    As a guest star, Sira Vegas (UPM) gave the tutorial "Importance of Methodological Rigor in Software Engineering".
