The Corral de Comedias
A highlight of the town is the Corral de Comedias, one of the most significant historical theatres in Europe. It remains the pre-eminent venue for the performance of masterpieces from the Spanish Golden Age of literature (spanning the 16th and 17th centuries). Stepping into this remarkably preserved space offers a unique window into the theatrical heritage of the era.
Tasting Dinner
Following our tour, we shall enjoy dinner—weather permitting—within one of the historic patios of the Parador de Almagro. Originally a 16th-century Franciscan monastery, the building has been beautifully converted into one of the region’s most distinguished hotels. The dinner features a curated tasting menu showcasing the rich culinary heritage of the region. For the main course, you are invited to choose between pan-seared stone bass (corvina) or succulent local lamb.
The cost of the dinner is €49 per person, payable directly to the restaurant. Upon the conclusion of our evening, a private coach will return the group to Ciudad Real.
