    • Impact of the Pandemic
    of COVID19

    Within the D2CR project works on depopulation in the province of Ciudad Real, our colleague Francisco Ruiz has carried out an analysis of the evolution of demographic data comparing the first year of the pandemic, 2020, with the averages of the previous 4 years. This gives a picture of how the pandemic has impacted on the evolution of the population, migration, birth rate and mortality. The report is available on the website https://d2cr.uclm.es/. On the occasion of this report, the newspaper La Tribuna interviewed our colleague and published a news item in which he highlights some of the results, such as the fact that the pandemic led to a relative improvement in the depopulation trend in small municipalities and a worsening in large municipalities.
