8th Meeting of the ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 14 Standardization Committee on Quantum Computing

Our colleagues Ignacio García and Mario Piattini have participated in the 8th meeting of the ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 14, held virtually on September 15, 2021, as part of the roadmap established by which the first documents that will standardize various aspects of quantum computing are being shaped.

Specifically, this meeting has worked on the report that allows establishing the basic aspects of quantum computing that will set the benchmark for its development both at industrial and research level, identifying types of approaches in quantum computing, basic principles, current technologies, application areas, etc...
